What Data We Collect

Will It Run AI is designed to minimize data collection:

  • Hardware detection data — Your GPU model and approximate system memory are detected via browser APIs (WebGPU, WebGL, navigator.deviceMemory). This data is processed locally in your browser and is not sent to our servers.
  • Local storage — Your hardware override selection, GPU count, RAM setting, and theme preference are stored in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device.
  • Server logs — Standard web server access logs (IP address, user agent, requested URLs, timestamps) are retained for security and operational purposes.
  • No cookies — We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.
  • No accounts — We do not require registration or collect personal information such as names, emails, or payment data.

How We Use Data

  • Hardware detection is used solely to provide personalized compatibility estimates in your browser.
  • Server logs are used for security monitoring, abuse prevention, and service reliability.
  • We do not sell, share, or transfer personal data to third parties.

Third-Party Services

We load data from:

  • Hugging Face — Model metadata and provider logos (avatars).
  • Ollama — Model availability data.

These services have their own privacy policies.

Data Retention

Server logs are retained for a maximum of 90 days. localStorage data persists until you clear your browser data or manually reset it.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679) and the Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on Personal Data Protection, you have the right to:
